PHARMACIST LICENSE BY EXAMINATION - APPLICATION

Obtain Fingerprint Session

Applicants must consummate a fingerprint session, unless fingerprinted with a different awarding type for TSBP within the past 36 months.  The fee for fingerprinting is less than $fifty. Fingerprint session instructions will be sent to the bidder via email afterward the application has been received past the lath.  If you have submitted an application and did not receive the e-mail, contact the Board at (512) 305-8000.
Applicants (using an accost) not located in Texas, volition receive a parcel in the mail with a fingerprint course and instructions sheet because the approved land vendor does non always permit a digital scan. Processing Time- Allow 8 Weeks Before Contacting the Lath

Applications are routinely reviewed and processed eight (viii) weeks AFTER the engagement they are submitted. Do not contact TSBP staff to ask about the condition of an awarding until at least 8 weeks has passed. All required items should be received prior to the review process, including registration for examinations via NABP .

Upon review, the applicant will be notified if any items are missing via U.S. Postal Service. If an applicant answers "yep" to groundwork questions, the application requires boosted review by in-business firm enforcement staff. Once all required items are received and the applicant is considered eligible to take exam(s), TSBP will notify NABP.  [NABP will notify the testing center (Pearson VUE), the testing heart will notify the bidder via e-mail. Exam results are downloaded from NABP once a week. Pharmacist licenses are issued weekly as a group each Friday.
Licenses can be verified at: http://www.texas.pharmacy.gov/dbsearch/pht_search.asp.  If an applicant believes a license should have been issued, simply cannot verify it online, they should check again the following Friday.

Exam results are available at: https://nabp.chemist's shop/programs/mpje/score-results/ Passing an exam does not indicate that a license has been issued.  New pharmacists will receive a letter from TSBP, which may take 3 weeks to receive.

Declining the NAPLEX or MPJE volition expire an intern registration co-ordinate to Lath Rule 283.four (c)(two)(A)(ii).  Note: NABP requires a 45 day waiting period to retake the NAPLEX and a xxx twenty-four hour period waiting period to retake the MPJE.  If an applicant fails an examination, TSBP will automatically mail out the required paper retake application. Applicants are limited to five attempts to pass either exam. Let at least three weeks for the retake packet or further instructions to be received in the post before contacting TSBP staff.
